Instead of just learning about the west, experience what the west really has to offer. This cabin was originally built as part of the Bearpaw, the first dude ranch in Jackson in the early 1900s. Later the cabin was moved to become a part of the Rocking H Ranch. The Rocking H Ranch is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The cabin was built by "Ma Seton" the first white women settler in Jackson, Wy. It was also the first cabin in Jackson to have a second floor. Jack Huyler, world record holding horseman, then purchased the cabin and land from Ma Seaton. Enjoy reading about the incredible history associated with the Cabin and the Ranch. Also enjoy a signed copy of Jack Huyler's book; And That's the Way it Was in Jackson Hole, a delightful collection of his stories about Jackson! The kitchen and living area is then joined by a mudroom with the hallway then spreading out to the three bedrooms, loft and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and twin bedroom as well as a wood stove. The master bedroom also offers the access to the loft, which holds two twin beds and a reading nook. The other two bedrooms are down the hallway and provided ample room for everyone to spread out. The cabin holds true to its origination with beautifully crafted log walls and wood floors.
